The Chief Audit Executive leads the Internal Audit Unit, providing independent assurance and consulting to improve operations by evaluating risk management, controls, and governance, and reporting to the Audit Committee and Executive Director.

Under the general direction and supervision of the Senior Accountant the incumbent is responsible for the payment of public funds and recording financial transactions in accordance with the FAA Act and GOJ Policies and Guidelines.

Plan, direct, and organise financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out accounting functions including payroll preparation and providing support to the payroll staff to ensure that payroll and other related functions are completed on a timely basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible in providing assistance regarding the receiving, storing, securing, assembling and issuing of Fixed Assets at the General Stores and provide administrative support when required.

The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the Accounting Officer by performing routine and non-routine accounting functions, ensuring transactions undertaken are systematically carried out and accounts are properly maintained.

The incumbent is responsible for providing technical support to the Auditor and Audit Supervisor in the execution of audits (performance, operational, financial and compliance) carried out in conformance with Government and International Standards.
