The incumbent leads the Legal Services Unit, providing legal expertise to the Office of the Services Commissions and government ministries on cases, while representing the OSC in disputes and coordinating with other legal departments.

The Assistant Crown Counsel provides advice and guidance on a range of legal matters relating to the broad field of Public International Law to support the work of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

Under the general direction and leadership of the Deputy Solicitor-General– Litigation, the Assistant Crown Counsel works with MDAs and LSU’s by providing support in identifying, investigating, negotiating and litigating a range of legal matters.

The incumbent provides legal advice and support to government ministries, conducts research, represents the government in appeals and parliamentary matters, and stays updated on legal and policy developments.

The Crown Counsel provides advice and guidance on a range of legal matters relating to the broad field of Public International Law to support the work of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

The Crown Counsel advises on government commercial matters, negotiates transactions, reviews contracts, conducts legal research, and contributes to administrative, team-building, and human resource functions within the legal division.

Under the general direction of the Deputy Solicitor-General, Constitutional and Legislative Affairs, the incumbent is responsible for providing legal advice to various Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies on a wide range of legal matters.

The Assistant Attorney-General advises on and negotiates government commercial transactions, reviews agreements, and participates in administrative, team-building, and human resource management for the legal division.

The Senior Assistant Attorney-General advises on government commercial transactions, reviews agreements, negotiates settlements, manages administrative tasks, and participates in human resource activities for the legal division.

The Senior Assistant Attorney-General provides expert legal advice to government bodies, reviews legislation, represents the government in appeals, manages the division's resources and supervises legal work for high-level government matters.
